Income-Tax Department sets up 24×7 control room for unaccounted cash

New Delhi: The Income-Tax Department has set up a 24×7 control room to monitor movement of any unaccounted cash and valuables during Delhi assembly elections. The Directorate of Income Tax (Investigation), Delhi, has provided a toll-free hotline (1800111309) for the public to report suspicious activities during the election period at the Civic Centre in New Delhi.

The department has said the identity of all informant will be kept anonymous.
